Sufix Fishing Line Review
Posted by admin under: fishing tackle

I got an review on the Sufix fishing line from Ronnie Garrison. Whats the Sufix? Who use it? I never heard about Sufix, used basicly Shimano.
Sufix price looks like reasonably:
Amazon.com: $7.49 - $8.49
BoatersWorld.com: $7.49 - $9.49
But may be this review is only ad?
“I have used Sufix Line to win several tournaemnts. It comes in a varitey of strengths and types. I especially like the Sufix Elite and have it on several of my reels, from 4 to 14 pound test. It stays relatively limp in cold weather and holds up will with good abrasion resistance. And I like the fact it is hard for fish to see in the water, even if it is hard for me to see, too.
I have been buying Sufix line for several years and have several reels spooled with it. It works well under a variety of conditions where you want to use monofilament line.
Pros
- Very tough line
- Holds up well under use
- Flexible line
- Reasonable price
- Low visibility in the water
Cons
- Hard to find
- Hard to see when you need to watch your line
Description
- Variety of styles and kinds of line
- Monofilament is strong but limp
- Holds up will while using - very abrasion resistant
- Stays limp in cold weather
- Disappears in the water
- Relatively inexpensive - can buy bulk spools
I heard about Sufix line on a newsgroup and gave it a try. I used it to win the North Woods Classic in Wisconsin this past year, placed fourth last year and was second four years ago. All but one of my fish in those three tournaments were caught on 14 pound test Sufix while pitching a Senko around lily pads. I did not lose a fish.
I also won a club tournament in January 2007 throwing a Yozuri crankbait on the same Sufix 14 pound line. It stayed limp enough to use in the cold weather. I had a 5.6 pound largemouth grab the bait as I lifted it out of the water. With less than two feet of line out, I managed to land the bass. The line held up.
Sufix comes in a varitey of styles and colors. I like the Elite in Camo color. It is hard to see if you need to watch your line but it is hard for the fish to see, too. That is very important to me.”

FUCK SUFIX… ITS A PICE OF SHIT PRODUCT….. MAKE THE FIRST CAST AND YOU WILL FIND OUT. HOW? CAST IT AND YOUR LURE WILL FLY OUT HELLA FAR, JUST TO REALIZE THAT THE FUCKIN LINE IS NOT CONNECTED TO THE LURE ANY MORE. HMMMPH NO WONDER THE DUMB FUCKS THAT PUT IT ON THE MARKET SAY ITS GREAT FOR CASTING…. BUY P-LINE CXX MOSS GREEN AND YOU WILL NEVER BE DISAPPOINTED. ONE SPOOL OF P-LINE AND YOU ARE SET FOR THE YEAR.. NO MORE MONEY WASTED ON SHITTY LINES. IF SUFIX CAN’T EVEN HOLD A LURE TO BE CASTED, THEN HOW IS IT GONNA HOLD UP IF THERES A FISH ON THE OTHER END….. WHAT A SORRY EXCUSE FOR A SELF PROCLAIMED GOOD LINE COMPANY. I have to agree with the guy with F#%k Sufix, but with less profanity. I’ve lost many fishes on this line, and I’ve got to say that, if you want to tell stories about how you caught that big fish instead of how you lost it, then stay away from Sufix. There are much better quality lines out there with lower prices. P-line is top notch, but I prefer Andes… its just not as stiff… Andes is about 3 dollars cheaper than Sufix and you get a bigger spool atleast twice the yardage… Sufix is a waste of money, that is why you have to stick to what you trust, and I DO NOT trust Sufix. I use Andes because I want to come home and sleep good, because i caught that big fish, not come home and loath about the big fish that i could have caught and have nightmares about….. trust me this will happen to you if you’ve got Sufix on your reel. Well, FISH ON!!!!
